As we celebrate Black History Month, D2neXt would like to take this opportunity to recognize those individuals who work to make a difference in various fields, including small business owners, local politicians, medical professionals, and entertainment figures. This month, we are saluting everyday history-makers and their efforts to make a positive impact on the communities they support.
Ebony Pritchett is a Human Insights professional with 15 years of experience in a broad range of industries ranging from Health, Beauty Care, Television Broadcasting, Fashion, Food & Technology. Born and raised in the Queen City of Cincinnati, Ebony’s interest in ethnic understanding was sparked as a Youth Docent for The National Underground Railroad Freedom Center. Her passion was fanned at Procter & Gamble where she worked to serve underserved consumer groups and volunteered with the Diversity and Inclusion organization.
Since P&G, Ebony’s natural sense of curiosity, authenticity and keen ability to connect with diverse audiences fueled a successful career of designing and facilitating research and strategic workshops as a free-lance consultant. After witnessing years of racial tension and social unrest, Ebony determined to be a change agent by merging her purpose, passion and professional skill set to birth The Advocacy Group – A Human Insights and Diversity Training organization.
The mission: “Our mission is to build bridges of empathy between the uninformed and the underserved. We stand in the gap for those with a muted voice amongst the majority using creative, educational, and high-engagement approaches. There is beauty in diversity that is often drowned out by algorithms, politics, misinformation, and fear. Our service silences the noise and empowers meaningful human connection and unity.”
